Rotana Secretaries attended the one-day “EQ leader workshop” at the Yas Rotana on 15 April 2011. The workshop was facilitated by Tripat Mehrotra and Sharon Fernandes who recently attended the Six Seconds EQ Leader Certification workshop. The room was filled with a lot of energy from the start of the day as 28 Rotana Executive Secretaries from different properties in the UAE greeted each other face to face, many of them for the first time. An Executive Secretary plays a key role as a Brand ambassador when interacting with clients, colleagues and guests. Managing their own stress and also the stress of their boss at times requires them to be high on Emotional Intelligence. Through the programme the model and tools presented were found very useful and enlightening by the participants. One of the executive secretaries commented: “Can’t thank you’ll enough for sharing the EQ workshop with us. It is very useful and I am sure everyone agrees that we all need this in handling our day to day activities as executive secretaries.”
March 10, 2011. Six Seconds Middle Easr hosted its 1st annual EQ Conference in the region. Under th umbrella of “People Performance”, Six Seconds ME hosted a number oof prominent EQ specialists anf practitioners who were invited to share their rich EQ experince and best practices with the participants.
