March 10, 2011. Six Seconds Middle Easr hosted its 1st annual EQ Conference in the region. Under th umbrella of “People Performance”, Six Seconds ME hosted a number oof prominent EQ specialists anf practitioners who were invited to share their rich EQ experince and best practices with the participants.
Mr. Joshua Freedman, the global COO of Six Seconds and the author of both books “Inside Change” and “At the Heart of Leadership”, was the key guest speaker for this event. His opening note focused on how one can use the power of Emotional Intelligence to become more engaged and engage others to accelerate transformation.
The conference was attended by a number of participants who came from different sectors and industries from the UAE and the world including Japan, China, Malaysia and Singapore. The different speakers’ sessions’ focused on the importance of Emotional Intelligence in the business world as well as in one’s personal life.
They shared practical examples of how Emotional Intelligence is implemented in different sectors with the audience which helped in enriching their understanding of Emotional Intelligence and its contribution to people’s performance as well as adding a deeper clarity about how and why the development of Emotional Intelligence is key to success and performance.
At the end of the conference, the audience were invited to attend a keynote panel where a Questions & Answers session was held with key directors from the Six Seconds network worldwide.
